A Bull by the Horns
I really enjoyed A Bull by the Horns, by Deb Donahue.
If you’re in the mood for a cozy little mystery, A Bull by the Horns
will do very nicely. Set on a farm in Ellendale, it is Donahue’s
depiction of Coffman’s Country Art Colony that stuck with me days
after finishing the novel. It made me want to sign up for the Coffman’s Art Colony—or not.
You’ll see what I mean. We are, after all–talking about a mystery.

Dawn patrol at Ala Moana picture by Ramsay Wharton Hnn
Surfers were up and at ’em this morning getting ready for the south swell.
Hatch and Dorian may have referred to Dawn Patrol as something that
involved flying but today its all about the waves!
Happy Aloha Friday all!
Scales Review by Deb Borys
Pretty. Right? This looks like something Ducky would wear. Unfortunately I tried to follow the directions and it didn’t come out as perky as the picture. Instead it looked more like tissue paper glued onto my nails. Boo. Not what I was hoping. Maybe someone else will have better results than I did. Send me a picture of your results. The first person who does will get a signed book of Scales.
